Wine from the clouds and Cafayate, the Salta region…

Published by under Argentine Wine

… or as the official name goes the Calchaqui Valley. The whole region has an elevation of 1700 to 2800 meters and has 4000 ha of vineyards. The scenery is spectacular this has to be mentioned right from the beginning, vineyards tucked between breathtaking mountains, amazing roughed landscape. High altitude wine making, with no doubt as probably the highest commercial vineyard the Finca Colomé around Molinos /Payogasta/ on 3002 m is here.
